Our recommendation of Globat is
primarily due to Globat's high
value-low cost packages, and their overall reliability. Furthermore,
they state that they're committed to providing the finest
customer service in the industry. 2004 appears to have been
a good year for Globat, as
they have been winning several 2004 Best Web Hosting Awards
from other reputable web hosting research firms. Additionally
they appear to be increasing their support staff each month,
and we look forward to how service will improve further in
2005.
In addition to excellent friendly customer, Globat is
known to have one of the best server uptimes in the industry.
Best of breed hardware, experienced system administrators
and exceptional network partners provides Globat with
the strongest backbone of any company we have found. Globat is
also very sensitive to their clients’ email needs and have
developed their own proprietary cluster arrangement to ensure
their clients’ email systems are always functional.
As impressed as we are with the attention to
detail that Globat directs
towards their client services and hardware, we are absolutely
amazed by their package sizes and costs to the consumer.
In the years that we have been reviewing hosting companies
we have never seen a better offer from a reputable web hosting
company.
(News: Feb 2005) Globat has
just launched a new control panel which contains a site building
feature for new webmasters called GloBuild, and site promotion
features under the banner of PromoPak.
The bad news
So far all of our test accounts with Globat have
had 100% uptime and all of our backend systems have worked
well. We have tested their support departments at different
times and have found friendly and accessible representatives
each time we tried them.
